    TheRole

    BidManager is responsible for overseeing the endtoend bid process fromstrategy development to submission with a focus on collaborationquality and meeting client requirements. Their role requires acombination of project management strategic planning andcommunication skills to increase the organizations chances ofwinning competitivebids.

    Requirements

    • Responsiblefor developing and preparing proposals/SOW in response to Requestsfor Proposals(RFPs).
    • Ableto assist in the development of presentations and respond to anyrequests for information from the companys salesteam.
    • Theproposal writer is expected to work closely with representativesfrom several departments including sales technical and the contractdepartment.
    • Ableto develop good working relationships with people in otherdepartments.
    • Abilityto run the team as a performance drivenorganization.
    • Dutiesinclude tracking proposals and performance KPIs for the groupwriting proposals and other documentation ensuring that proposalsin progress comply with guidelines set by Global Sales Enablementmanaging the creation and distribution of all work documentsmaintaining proposal formatting developing sales presentations andgathering critical information for variouspersonnel.
    • Ableto drive proposal strategy meeting and conclude anydifferences.
    • Ableto work closely with sales team to set opportunity prioritiesdeadlines.
    • Meetingproposal deadline by establishing target dates for informationgathering review and approval.
    • Ableto maintain quality results by using templates; follow proposalwriting standards including readability consistency andtone.
    • Drivecontinuous improvement in proposal writing by evaluating andredesigning processes approaches coordination and boilerplate andimplementing necessary changes.
    • Accomplishesorganizational goals by taking ownership of new and diverserequests and exploring opportunities to enhance job accomplishmentsand add value.
    • Leadstoryboard sessions with members of the bid/proposal team tofacilitate effective communication and collaboration in thedevelopment process.
    • Presentall new proposal content to the knowledge base manager for reviewand potential incorporation into the knowledge base for futurereuse.
    • Proficientin Microsoft Excel and workflow/brainmappingapplications
    • Abilityto translate complex concepts into layperson narrative.
    • Researchesand collects data to fully define RFP requirements.
