Position Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The role is responsible to drive the business opportunities at allocated Eicher dealership with high quality customers.

The key focus of this role will build robust relationships with the DSE's, Dealer Principle and BA sales team to ensure seamless delivery of the VFS financial products to the customers and maintain effective communication with both customers and internal functional teams in VFS.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To achieve or exceed number of conversions, market share, penetration percentage in the dealership allocated. To interface directly with DSE's, Dealer Principle and BA Sales teams in the territory, negotiate deals, sell the financing products.
  • Develop, sustain, and build upon solid working relationships with dealer sales team and Business Area (BA) sales teams to ensure a strong, integrated process for higher referrals and conversion.
  • Undertake background inquiry to gather information on the customer's business, segment and financial situation to ensure that the originations are of high credit quality and to minimize the rejection ratio by the Credit team.
  • Meet customers together with the dealer sales team and facilitate sales with VFS bundled offerings.
  • Ensure timely processing of deals; coordinate effectively between the customer and the credit, operations and finance teams in VFS for seamless service delivery to customers, dealers and BAs.
  • Ensure compliance of all relevant process guidelines and documentation requirements.
  • Monthly meetings at the dealerships to promote VFS, follow opportunities and gather information on customers and markets.

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate

years of sales experience in a financial services or retail banking industry in India is necessary, along with strong knowledge of Commercial Vehicles finance industry in India.
Sales experience in a captive finance company shall be an advantage.


  • Sound knowledge of local market and customer base.
  • Be a selfstarter with demonstrable record of accomplishment.
  • Willingness to work and adapt to a fast growing & changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly and be proactive.
  • Ability to perform and work well under pressure.
  • Should have good command on local language of the state. Proficiency in additional will be an added advantage

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Be presentable and be an ambassador of VFS and Volvo at all times
  • Solid domain knowledge of sales and marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus and strong ability to communicate
  • Ability to work in a process driven organization
