    Job Description

    The SeniorManager - Operations will lead procurement, asset management andadministrative support functions of the organisation enabling programme teamsto achieve operational efficiency. He / She will oversee the efficient andeffective day-to-day operations. The SeniorManager - Operations will have overall strategic and operationalresponsibilities towards driving the vision and mission of the organisation.

    PrimaryResponsibilities include:

  • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive andcost-effective and manage team members while controlling the procurement budgetand promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
  • Analyse and take initiatives to improve process andtime efficiency in all operationalresponsibilities of the organisation
  • Planning and managing the organisation's operations andother general administrative functions across all chapters nationally whileevaluating the satisfaction of all stakeholders
  • Coordinating annual budget reviews, monthly and quarterlyreviews, and periodic forecast updates for the senior management
  • Take complete ownership for all assets of theorganisation and have periodic monitoring and reporting mechanism
  • OtherResponsibilities

  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendorsto ensure on-going feasibility, while also performing risk assessments onpotential contracts and agreements
  • Manage other day to day operations and logistics based onthe need of the organisation
  • Preferred Education Qualification /Experience:
  • Minimum Seven years of relevant work experience
  • Three or more years of proven success in an operationsmanagement role
  • Any graduate in supply chain management, logistics, orbusiness administration
  • Proven experience managing procurement, organisationassets and supply chain operations
  • Excellence in organizational management with the abilityto coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set, and achievestrategic objectives, and manage a budget
  • Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • Ability to driveoutcome-oriented plans through the team's collective effort
  • Ability to find innovativesolutions to operational needs of the organisation
  • Should be able to collaboratewith multiple teams internally and external vendors
  • Strong influencing skills,collaborative, networking and listening skills
  • Strong IT skills andaptitude for adoption of digital technology
  • Leadership skills and ability to mentor a team ofOperations executives

  • Location : Chennai
  • Scope: Full time
  • Remuneration:Negotiablebased on candidate's profile
