    Job Description

  • Independently manages complex projects, applying advanced project management skills
  • Directs strategic programs with multiple phases and integrated workstreams
  • Delivers project results through leadership and influence rather than authority and control; leverages organizational dynamics to influence outcomes through leadership and communication skills
  • Collaborates cross-functionally, internally and externally to Allstate, to design program scope, objectives, timelines and measures of success
  • Defines and sequences deliverables across integrated workstreams including process design, quality control, risk management, measurement and reporting, technology integration, business continuity planning and operating model design
  • Establishes integrated project plans including sequenced milestones and dependencies with clear timelines; defines accountability across various stakeholders
  • Quickly adapts plans to achieve outcomes when faced with unanticipated challenges
  • Demonstrates ability to influence leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Facilitates cross-functional planning, design and solutioning sessions
  • Understands, articulates and executes actions to accelerate progress across workstreams
  • Anticipates change, adapts quickly and leads through ambiguity
  • Develops executive-level artifacts which facilitate critical decision-making and information sharing
  • Assesses and reports health of all projects in an objective manner, maintaining project transparency and accurate status
  • Delivers written and verbal progress updates on complicated projects and issues in an easily understood simplified style to any audience, including immediate team and Claims mid-level and senior leadership
