- Compliance: Verify that the organization's IT procedures conform to industry criteria, regulations, and internal guidelines.
- Audit Documentation: Produce detailed audit documentation, including audit plans, testing procedures, and reports on findings.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to recognize patterns, irregularities, and areas necessitating enhancement.
- Process Improvement: Offer suggestions for enriching IT processes, controls, and security protocols to reduce risks and boost productivity.
- Communication: Efficiently communicate audit discoveries, suggestions, and risk evaluations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including upper management.
- Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and top practices in IT auditing and data security.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tackle IT audit discoveries and implement required alterations.
- Compliance Monitoring: Supervise the progress of remedial plans and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) is advantageous.
- Proven track record as an IT Auditor with 5-6 years in a similar capacity.
- Solid grasp of IT auditing criteria, techniques, and top practices.
- Proficiency in auditing and risk assessment tools and software.
- Superb analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Keen attention to detail and adeptness at working both autonomously and within a team.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Knowledge of IT security concepts and technologies.
- Thorough understanding of information systems and infrastructure.
