We are looking for an
Adviser -L&D in the HR Function with great analytical and interpersonal skills which can leverage technology and their own knowledge and skills to help propel our growth in India.


What the role entails


This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning and development initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of our employees.

Your role will involve helping employees acquire new skills, knowledge, and behaviors that align with their roles and the organization's objectives.

Scope:

Your scope will include (but not limited to) below


Learning Design and Development

  • Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, assessments and/or utilize annual performance review cycle to evaluate employee comments related to learning needs.
  • Collaborate with functional leadership to understand learning priorities and tailor learning plan accordingly.
  • Conceptualize and design training programs and initiatives that address the identified learning needs for various employee levels.
  • Ensure new initiatives/ trainings are aligned with functional objectives & business goals.
  • Develop and support a college graduate training and development program.

Learning Delivery and Facilitation

  • Facilitate training sessions, either inperson or through virtual platforms, to deliver the learning content to employees in a batch or oneonone coaching and mentoring programs.
  • Promote employee engagement and participation in the training programs by making the content relevant, interactive, and practical.
  • Facilitate and/or organize workshops aligned with the global learning philosophy of Rio Tinto Global for mid to senior level roles.
  • Enable business in reinforcing the learnings by providing resources, job aids, and coaching to implement new skills on the job.

Governance Mechanism and Continuous Improvement

  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs through participant feedback, performance metrics, and organizational impact
  • Oversee calendarization of the learnings as per the requirement for various employee cohorts across India office.
  • Ensure outcomes are being achieved & help make improvements for future programs.
  • Ensure resolution of queries and escalations on training and development programs
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously improve training offerings.

Management of learning related systems across India office

  • Maintain training records and track learning progress for individual employees and the organization.
  • Conduct periodic LMS audits and troubleshoot any technical issues.

About Yourself

  • A Bachelor's/ master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 58 years of experience in learning and development, talent management, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Indepth knowledge of learning technologies and LMS administration.
  • Proficiency in designing and delivering various types of training, including classroombased and elearning modules.
