    Who we are looking for:

    • A Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience, preferably from audit/ consultant companies
    • Extensive track record in risk management, compliance, and audit, particularly within the electronics retail sector.
    • Profound expertise in legislation, regulations, and compliance protocols.
    • Demonstrated prowess in crafting and upholding robust risk management frameworks and driving enterprise-wide risk management initiatives.
    • Proficiency in devising and executing fraud detection and prevention strategies, including configuring and operating fraud detection systems.
    • Extraordinary analytical acumen, adept at deciphering financial and operational data to unearth risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
    • Exceptional organizational finesse, equipped with the ability to navigate multiple priorities and deliver results within stipulated timelines.
    • Agility in adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes and a fervent commitment to staying abreast of industry developments.

    What you will be doing:

    Audit Oversight

    • Develop and implement comprehensive audit frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting processes, and compliance procedures.
    • Conduct regular audits of business operations, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
    • Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

    Risk Management

    • Proactively monitor and assess risks across all aspects of the business, including operational, financial, and strategic risks.
    • Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats to the organization.
    • Conduct risk assessments and scenario analyses to anticipate and address emerging risks in a timely manner.

    Fraud Prevention and Control

    • Design and implement comprehensive fraud prevention strategies and controls to mitigate the risk of fraudulent activities across the organization.
    • Monitor transactional data and conduct forensic analyses to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of potential fraud.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement fraud detection tools and technologies.

    Compliance Assurance

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, with a focus on tax compliance and GST laws.
    • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and changes in tax laws, disseminating updates and providing guidance to relevant stakeholders.
    • Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to assess adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

    Stakeholder Communication

    • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on audit findings, risk assessments, and fraud prevention initiatives.
    • Communicate key risks and compliance issues to relevant stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
