    Description

    Job Title:
    Assistant Manager of Maintenance (Equipment Specialist)


    Job Summary:
    As the Assistant Manager of Maintenance, specializing in equipment, you will
    play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment
    within the trampoline park. Your expertise with the specific machines used in our facility will be
    essential in maintaining peak performance and minimizing downtime.


    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all trampoline
    park equipment, including trampolines, foam pits, climbing walls, and other attractions.

    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues with
    equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.

    • Equipment Upgrades: Research, recommend, and coordinate equipment upgrades and
    replacements as needed, staying current with advancements in technology and industry best
    practices.


    • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, including spare
    parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely procurement of necessary
    items.


    • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards,
    conducting regular inspections and audits of equipment to identify and address potential
    hazards.


    • Staff Training: Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on equipment operation,
    maintenance procedures, and safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.


    • Emergency Response: Coordinate and oversee emergency response protocols for equipment
    failures or malfunctions, implementing contingency plans to minimize disruption and ensure the
    safety of guests and employees.


    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance activities, including
    work orders, service reports, and inspection logs, to track performance, identify trends, and
    inform decision-making.


    • Collaboration: Collaborate with other department managers and staff to support operational
    goals and initiatives, providing technical expertise and assistance as needed.


    • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the ongoing reliability and safety of equipment, minimizing the risk of breakdowns or failures.

    Requirements

    - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or training
    preferred.


    • Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in the amusement,
    entertainment, or leisure industry.


    • Expertise with the specific machines and equipment used in a trampoline park, including
    trampolines, foam pits, climbing walls, and related attractions.

    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and
    resolve technical issues effectively.


    • Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices and procedures, with experience
    developing and implementing maintenance schedules and protocols.


    • Familiarity with safety regulations and standards applicable to amusement and recreation
    facilities, with a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
    with a diverse team and interact effectively with guests and vendors.


    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment, with a
    proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
