    Senior Manager – International Statutory Reporting - mumbai, India - M&G

    Description

    Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Month end postings, reporting and reconciliations for assigned entities in both Local & Group GAAP (IFRS).
  • Preparation and completion of regulatory filings for assigned entities as required & monitoring compliance of required capital where applicable.
  • Preparation, audit and completion of financial statements or other statutory filings for assigned entities.
  • Board paper production & attendance at board meetings as required.
  • Raise intercompany invoices and settlements.
  • Exert and maintain financial control over international branches and subsidiaries
  • Manage cross-border relationships with M&G overseas employees and external third-party service providers
  • Liaising with Tax, HR, CoSec, Compliance, T&B, and other finance teams as necessary.
  • Prepare and update cashflow forecasts.
  • Working with a third-party provider (TPP) for tax and finance activities for both own entities and supporting others within the team as required.
  • Complete peer reviews on other team members reporting packs quarterly and provide feedback.
  • Support any team wide projects and initiatives as required.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of relationship with TPP to include ongoing quality control.
  • Deputise for International Finance Manager as required and appropriate.
  • Support adhoc queries.
