    Cloud Architect (GCP Infrastructure)

    Position Overview :

    We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Specialist with hands-on experience in GCP services related to infrastructure and strong architectural skills.

    The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions to support our organization's growing needs.

    This individual should possess a deep understanding of GCP services, infrastructure as code automation using Ansible, and cloud architecture best practices.

    Responsibilities :

    Infrastructure Design and Implementation :

    Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available GCP infrastructure solutions.

    Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager to automate deployment and configuration processes.

    Cloud Architecture :

    Architect cloud solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices for performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization.

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native applications and services.

    GCP Service Expertise :

    Demonstrate expertise in a wide range of GCP services including but not limited to Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Networking, IAM and Monitoring.

    - Provide guidance and support to development teams on leveraging GCP services effectively.

    Performance Optimization and Cost Management :

    Monitor and optimize GCP infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

    - Implement cost management strategies and best practices to optimize cloud spending.

    Security and Compliance :

    - Implement security best practices and compliance requirements in GCP environments.

    - Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of. data.

    Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :

    Create comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

    - Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.

    Qualifications :

    bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    - Proven experience as a GCP Specialist or Cloud Engineer with a focus on infrastructure.

    - Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing GCP infrastructure solutions.

    - Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.

    - Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or CloudFormation.

    - Excellent knowledge of GCP services and features, with the ability to recommend optimal solutions based on requirements.

    - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

    - Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with cloud networking configurations.

    - Experience with security best practices identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards in cloud environments.

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

    - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Preferred Qualifications :

    Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect,.

    - Professional Cloud Developer, or Professional Cloud Network Engineer.

    - Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

    - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver.
