    We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in enhancing the process and efficiency of our foundry.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensively understanding the value in all manufacturing processes, identifying critical processes, calculating process capability (Sigma Levels) and optimizing these aspects for enhanced performance.

    Key responsibilities include data collection, analysis, dashboard development, active participation in process improvement projects and ongoing monitoring to ensure continuous improvement.

    BE Mechanical, BE Industrial Engineering, BE Metallurgy, BE Mechatronics or Related Field

    Diploma candidates with good analytical capability will also be considered.

    The role you will play

    • Process Engineering
    • Identify the critical processes directly impacting the product quality.
    • Understand systems to collect process data.
    • Follow standard procedures to collect process data effectively.
    • Plot the data into data analysis tools such as excel / minitab etc to generate process capability studies and its current sigma levels.
    • Participate and drive process development projects in the company.
    • Associate process to product and establish product level rejection pareto, to identify focus products.
    • Apply problem solving techniques to arrive at resolution action plans and road maps, and participate actively in them.
    • Team Building
    • Enjoy collaboration and teamwork, Effectively communicate.
    • Lead by example, and drive organizational culture and develop a growth mindset.
    • Lead by example towards establishing a process driven culture and growth mindset.
    • Present effectively to reporting heads, weekly achievements and coming week execution plans.

    • Identify opportunities for digitisation.
    • Actively participate in digitisation and automation projects.

    Additional Preferred Skills / Learning if part of team

    • Good analytical skills.
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
    • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g.
    Excel, Minitab, Tableau, Power BI).

    • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
    • Passion for engineering and core science of material science, metallurgy and mechanical engineering.
