We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic Safety Manager for our Organisation.

To provide a safe working environment to all employees in accordance and in compliance with Statutory requirements as per Factories Act 1948 and Tamilnadu Factory Rules 1950.
To advise on safety aspects in all job studies and to carry out detailed job safety studies of selected jobs
To ensure availability of highquality personal protective equipment
To carry out plant safety inspections in order to observe the physical conditions of work and the work practices and to render advice on measures to be adopted for removing the unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe actions by employees.
To carry out methodical and scientific accident and nearmiss incidents to identify root causes and initiate appropriate management action
To promote the setting up of safety committees and act as adviser and catalyst to such committees
To fulfill OHSAS requirements & maintain OHSAS standards

Desired Profile:

The incumbent should be an Engineering graduate with post graduation in Industrial Safety or Diploma In Industrial Safety from a recognised institution by State Government with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
Sound Knowledge on local legislation/requirements.
Working Knowledge of

OHSAS:
18001 & ISO 14001 & Safety Management System is must

Should have good communication and Leadership skills
Experience as a safety head with a responsibility of handling a multilocation plants shall be an added advantage.
Positive and go getting attitude with the ability and attitude to do all possible jobs
Strong Analytical Skills for handling the Marketing team
