    Description

    Introduction: We are seeking a talented Algorithm Development Engineer to join our team. This individual will be instrumental in enhancing the functionality of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines through algorithm development and feature extraction adjustments. The role will directly support and collaborate with our Manufacturing Engineer - Optical Machines Specialist to align software modifications with hardware changes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Develop and refine algorithms for our AOI machines to improve inspection accuracy and efficiency.

    · Adjust and optimize feature extraction techniques in response to hardware upgrades and changes.

    · Work closely with the manufacturing engineering team to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware modifications.

    · Analyze machine performance data to identify areas for algorithmic improvement.

    · Conduct rigorous testing and validation of new algorithms to ensure they meet quality standards.

    · Collaborate with product development teams to align algorithmic changes with overall product specifications.

    · Document development processes and maintain records of algorithm versions and updates.

    Required Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    · Proven experience in algorithm development, particularly in image processing or optical inspection.

    · Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.

    · Experience in feature extraction and real-time data processing.

    · Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    · Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

    · Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Desirable Skills:

    · Prior experience working with AOI technologies, particularly in a manufacturing context.

    · Knowledge of Apple product specifications and testing requirements.

    · Experience in managing software development projects.
