    Role Overview:

    As the Lead - Franchise Development, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our franchise network and driving business growth. This is an individual contributor role with direct management responsibility for a team of two members. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing product/service sales worth a minimum of 15 Lakhs. Experience in selling to C-suite executives is highly advantageous.

    Key Responsibility:

    • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans for franchise sales, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives. This involves identifying target markets, assessing competition, and determining the most effective sales tactics.
    • Generation and Prospecting: Generate leads through various channels such as networking events, industry conferences, online platforms, referrals and other paid tools. Develop a pipeline of prospective franchisees and maintain regular communication to nurture relationships.
    • and Evaluation: Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure they meet the company's requirements for franchise ownership. Conduct thorough evaluations of prospective franchisees, assessing their financial capability, business acumen, and alignment with the brand's values and culture.
    • Presentations and Negotiations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential franchisees, highlighting the benefits of partnering with the company. Negotiate terms and conditions of franchise agreements, ensuring mutual understanding and agreement on key terms such as fees, royalties, and territory rights.
    • Support: Facilitate the onboarding process for new franchisees, providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and support to launch and operate their businesses successfully. Ensure franchisees are fully equipped to adhere to brand standards and deliver a consistent customer experience.
    • Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective franchisees, serving as their primary point of contact and addressing any concerns or challenges they may encounter. Foster a sense of community and collaboration among franchisees to promote engagement and mutual support.
    • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for franchise expansion. Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive developments to update sales strategies and decision-making.
    • and Legal Matters: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to franchise sales and operations. Work closely with training and finance team to review and finalize franchise agreements, disclosure documents, and other legal documentation.
    • with Global Teams: Serve as the primary liaison between franchise operations and global headquarters. Facilitate communication, collaboration, and alignment between local and global teams to leverage resources, share best practices, and implement strategic initiatives effectively.
    • and Branding: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to drive leads and prospects, brand awareness, and loyalty across franchise locations.
    • and Performance Tracking: Track and analyze sales metrics, such as lead conversion rates, pipeline progression, and revenue projections. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and progress towards goals.
    • Leadership and Development: Lead and manage a team of franchise sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve their targets. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team.

    Requirements:

    • of 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in franchising or related industries.
    • track record of managing concept/services sales worth a minimum of 15 Lakhs.
    • in managing and leading a team, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
    • negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
    • experience in selling to C-suite executives would be a significant advantage.
    • understanding of franchise development processes and best practices.
    • degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
