    CategoryAnalyst Automobile Industry

    PositionOverview:
    TheCategory Analystplays a pivotal role in ensuring optimal inventory management andassortment
    strategiesfor oil and battery products across our stores. This role requiresa strategic mindset strong
    analyticalskills and excellent communication abilities to effectivelycollaborate with vendors
    negotiatecontracts and implement assortment plans.

    Responsibilities:

    Inventoryand Assortment Management:
    Maintain accurate inventory levels andassortment by store for oil and batteryproducts.
    Ensure accurate stock levels andassortment settings to meet customerdemand.
    Monitor inventory levels assess stockavailability and manage assorted vs.
    miscellaneousitems.
    Analyse salesdata market trends and customer preferences to optimizeassortment
    strategies.
    Ensure timely replenishment of stock tomeet customer demand and minimizeoutof
    stocksituations.

    RFXS(Request for X Supplier) Process:
    Lead the monthly RFXS process to sourceand procure necessary products from
    suppliers.
    Evaluate vendor proposals negotiatepricing and terms and select suppliers thatoffer
    thebest value for the company.
    Collaborate with crossfunctional teams toensure alignment with business objectives
    andcompliance with procurement policies.

    VendorRelationship and Negotiations:
    Cultivate and maintain strongrelationships with vendors to foster collaboration anddrive
    mutuallybeneficial outcomes.
    Negotiate contracts terms and pricing tooptimize cost savings and maintain
    competitiveadvantage.
    Address vendor concerns and resolve issuespromptly to ensure smooth operations and
    vendorsatisfaction.

    InventoryCleanup:
    Conduct regular inventory audits andcleanup activities to reconcile discrepanciesand
    maintaindata accuracy.
    Implement corrective actions to addressinventory inaccuracies and improve overall
    inventorymanagement processes.
    Work closely with store personnel toensure adherence to inventory management
    protocolsand best practices.

    ReportGeneration and Data Analysis:
    Generate comprehensive reports oninventory levels sales performance andassortment
    effectiveness.
    Utilize data analytics tools andtechniques to identify trends opportunities and areasfor
    improvement.
    Present findings and recommendations tomanagement to support informeddecision
    makingand strategic planning.

    AssortmentSetting and Implementation:
    Collaborate with merchandising andmarketing teams to develop assortmentstrategies
    basedon market research and customer insights.
    Implement assortment plans across storesconsideringregional variations andstore
    specificrequirements.
    Monitor assortment performance andadjust as neededto maximize sales and
    profitability.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor s degree in businessadministration Supply Chain ManagementMarketing or
    arelated field.
    Minimum of6 years ofexperience in a similar role with a proven track record ofsuccess
    ininventory management andcatalog analysispreferably in the automobile industry.
    Strong understanding of supply chainprinciples inventory management techniquesand
    procurementprocesses.
    Excellent negotiation communication andinterpersonal skills.
    Proficiency in data analysistools/software (e.g. Excel Tableau) andinventory
    managementsystems.
    Ability to multitask prioritize tasks andmeet tight deadlines in a fastpaced
