What you'll do

The Architect is responsible within her / his Tribe for the overall context, concept, and design of following aspects in the Signify IT Landscape: Business process(es), Information (dataarchitecture), Applications (solution architecture), Infrastructure.
The Tribe Architect reports hierarchically to the Tribe Lead, functionally to the IT Manager Enterprise Architecture.
In alignment with Product Owner and Tribe Lead, propose the best suited architecture considering business added value, costs, and technical standards. Tribe lead to make final decision, after verification by Architect Board the decision is in line with the overall strategy and architectural landscape and vision.
Define guidelines for implementation and governance of new proposed architectural solutions.
Sets and defines the nonfunctional requirements for the products in his/ her Tribe.
Proposes the best suited solutions based on nonfunctional requirement, latest technologies, and business requirements. The selection of the solution is done by the Tribe Lead, Tribe Architect, Product Owner, and Architecture Board, with the final approval by the Architecture Board.
Keeps the architectural landscape framework (e.g., Visio charts, overviews, policies, and standards) up to date and deploy it with the Tribe.
Driving Tribe architecture roadmap(s) and subsequent operationalization/implementation
Create the Architectural roadmap with the other Tribe and Product Architects.
Ensure proper integration of the products within the Tribe and with products of other Tribes.
Share knowledge and experiences within the Guild and agree on standards and expectations.
Look for opportunities to lower maintenance as well as development cost for existing and future landscape.
Align with business stakeholders to understand the business' vision and roadmap.
This is a global role. You will interact with IT and business stakeholders globally.
The Idea to Market domain consist out of a high diversity of tools supporting all our engineering disciplines. In coming years, it is vital to integrate the processes, data and tools further, end to end integrating into manufacturing and after sales as part of the 'digital twin' concept. Ensuring data and designs will be created once and maintained as well as reused thereafter, including proper lifecycle management of this data and designs from product creation to end of life. This requires bridging cross domains and virtual pillars.
You are required to have knowledge on integration aspects outside your Squad, business processes as well as IT technology.
You will work with various stakeholders in the business with a wide variety of business priorities.

Your qualifications

Open minded, curious, and innovative and aligned with our company values and aims and you bring the following experiences and competencies:
Overall min 13 years of work experience with at least 5+ years of experience in IT/Enterprise Architect position in a global organization with expertise in New Product Development and Launch in a product manufacturing company.
Business Process Experience in the areas of R&D and Innovation Management processes.
Experience with and knowledge on PLM Teamcenter, Portfolio management CAD/CAM, Tooling for Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, Optical domain
Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps
People and processoriented leadership style with agile mindset and cando mentality
Thought Leader in her/ his domain.
Informal leader / Influence without power
Experience in software design and development
Experience with designing quality products or experiences, as well as enabling business objectives through technology.
Experience with conducting user research, tool selection processes, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping
Good communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
