    Fund Accounting Services

    • Under our Fund Accounting vertical, we support reputable clients including private credit firm, Real estate mortgage provider, Investment advisor and investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and family offices, among others
    • Axience support to its clients include various activities in deal/transaction execution from creating pitch books, info memo and financial models as well as basic tasks such as news run, updating databases and creating newsletters for sellside clients
    • We support our clients in managing loan operations and fund finance activities independently liaising with client onshore team on daily client calls
    • Our business is a mix of ongoing dedicated analyst relationships and adhoc value added projects. This mix allows our staff to have arguably better learning and growth opportunities than our peers

    Real Estate Fund Accounting Analyst


    We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Real Estate Fund Accounting Analyst.

    Role Description


    The Real Estate Fund Accounting Analyst will be responsible for verifying residential whole loan P&L, reconciling accounting discrepancies, managing cash breaks with operations, and providing support for FC auction scheduling and REO cash transfers.

    The role entails meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

    • Reconcile activity to servicer reports to bank statements.
    • Calculate principal and interest payments, REO transfers, sales, etc.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies between accounting records and operational data.
    • Collaborate with operations team to reconcile cash breaks and ensure accuracy.
    • Provide support for FC auction scheduling, including creating schedules and downloading BPOs (Broker Price Opinions).
    • Set up the transfer email for REO (Real Estate Owned) cash transfers.
    • Monitor and track warehouse lines of credit used for loan financing.
    • Coordinate the release of collateral files in accordance with established procedures.
    • Distribute legal notifications and updates to servicers in a timely manner.
    • Allocate expenses and process payments for invoices related to loan operations.
    • Maintain organized records of legal documents on client drives or equivalent platforms.
    Desired Background and Skills

    • Several years of experience in Private Equity, Real Estate or Debt Fund Administration, including NAV calculation, Transfer Agent and investor servicing, tax compliance, etc.
    • Previous experience in loan operations, mortgage servicing, or related financial operations preferred
    • Experience of US GAAP/UK FRS/IFRS accounting standards.
    • Experience of consolidations and other accounting standards would be considered an asset.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Advanced accounting qualification such as CA (fully qualified or intermediate)
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
    • Good communication skills organized and flexible.
    • You possess team spirit with the ability to work independently using your own initiative when appropriate.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines.
