    Description

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tableau Server Admin Consultant(potentially ArcGIS) to join our growing team. Specialist in particular with Tableau on the Cloud (not Tableau Cloud but Tableau on Client Azure Cloud) and migration from on prem to Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to clients on all aspects of Tableau Server administration, deployment, and optimization. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, design and implement solutions, and ensure their Tableau environment is running smoothly and efficiently.

    Responsibilities:

    Consulting:

    • Conduct assessments of client needs and environments to recommend optimal Tableau Server configurations and deployments.
    • Develop and implement strategies for migration, upgrade, and optimization of existing Tableau Server environments.
    • Provide expert advice on best practices for Tableau Server administration, security, and performance tuning.

    Implementation:

    • Install, configure, and manage Tableau Server deployments on-premises or in the cloud especially on Client Azure Cloud
    • Configure user permissions, groups, and sites to ensure secure and efficient access to data.
    • Automate workflows and processes to streamline Tableau Server administration tasks.

    Support:

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tableau Server functionality and performance.
    • Provide ongoing support to clients through proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and user training.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest Tableau Server features and best practices.
