    Description

    Job Title: Flight Test Compliance Engineer

    Experience Level: 3 to 9 years.

    Location: Bangalore, India

    Skills required:

    Basic Qualifications:


    • University degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering


    • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in the aerospace industry


    • Gas turbines experience or complex systems


    • You are highly skilled and effective in technical writing and communicating with others


    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

    Soft Skills:


    • Team player


    • Curious, hungry to learn, self-starter


    • Strong coordination and communication skills


    • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills


    • Customer focus – ability to build and develop customer and supplier relationships


    • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team


    • Comfortable with challenging established thinking – is there a better way?

    Desired Skills:


    • Generation, review and/or approval of Flight Test Reports (Flight Clearance Documentation)


    • Flight Test experience ideal, but not essential. Without that past experience in roles similar to below could work:

    o Systems Engineer

    o Product/component Testing (schedules, planning, reporting)


    • Experience with product verification, validation and Qualification


    • Experience in configuration management is beneficial


    • Experience with PLM Systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, and NX is beneficial.

    Nice to have:


    • Knowledge of failure modes, design risk, failure progression (FMECA, FMEA)


    • Systems engineering (Means of compliance, requirement flow-down, verification)


    • Experience in PDM and SAP


    • Project Planning & management


    • Sound knowledge of airworthiness regulations


    • VBA
