Het Nederlandse consulaat-generaal in Bangalore, India is op zoek naar een stagiair(e) voor de periode van september t/m februari .
Het consulaat-generaal (CG) in Bangalore richt zich op het bevorderen van de (economische) relaties tussen Nederland en Zuid-India en is actief in de staten Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh en de Uniegebieden Andaman and Nicobar Eilanden en Puducherry. Ons team bestaat uit 12 collegas die werken voor verschillende afdelingen: economie en handel, innovatie, Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), landbouw en consulaire aangelegenheden.
Wij werken nauw samen met collega's binnen het India netwerk dat, naast het CG in Bangalore, bestaat uit de ambassade in New Delhi, het CG in Mumbai en de Netherlands Business Support Offices (NBSO) in Hyderabad en Ahmedabad.
We zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste stagiair(e) ter ondersteuning van de activiteiten die we ontplooien als CG. Werkzaamheden zullen bestaan uit:
Je zult vooral samenwerken met de collegas van de economische afdeling, maar we verwachten een stagiair(e) die bereid is zich ook in te zetten voor andere afdelingen en zo een goed inzicht te krijgen in het brede spectrum van het werk op een post.
Naast bovengenoemde werkzaamheden zul je tevens de tijd krijgen om te werken aan je eigen leeropdracht. Een leeropdracht vormt een belangrijk onderdeel van je stage en zal je helpen het meeste uit je stage te halen. Zie het blokje leeropdracht voor meer informatie.

Het CG biedt een stimulerende en leerzame werkomgeving met enthousiaste, betrokken collegas en zeer afwisselende werkzaamheden. De stagiair(e) wordt betrokken bij diverse activiteiten op verschillende economische terreinen en zal zo waardevolle ervaring opdoen op het gebied van internationale handelsbevordering. Ons kleine maar hechte team zorgt voor een prettige sfeer en werkomgeving.
Leeropdracht
Het CG onderzoekt momenteel of en hoe de Nederlandse watersector (bedrijven, kennisinstellingen, privaat-publieke instanties) het best gepositioneerd kan worden in Zuid-India. Om te bepalen waar concrete kansen tot samenwerking en het inzetten van Nederlandse expertise op watergebied liggen is een duidelijker beeld van de uitdagingen en mogelijkheden op dit terrein in Zuid-India nodig. De stagiair(e) zal worden gevraagd om, onder begeleiding, een onderzoeksrapport op te stellen dat inzichten geeft op dit vlak. De concrete invulling van de stage opdracht zal in overleg met de stagiair(e) worden afgestemd en vastgelegd.
