    Job Description


    Working with a well-recognised brand name in the maritime industry, this role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient recruitment, management, and deployment of seafarers, aligning with both statutory and company requirements, and contributing to the overall success of maritime operations.

    You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with seafarer requirements, aiding in budget preparation, managing Crewing software data, and, critically, seafarer recruitment.

    This involves developing effective recruitment strategies, conducting interviews, and overseeing the selection process to attract top talent. Additionally, you will manage crewing operations with a focus on retention, rotation, wage reviews, and budget adherence. Essential duties include providing performance feedback, addressing underperformance, briefing seafarers, managing grievances, resolving conflicts, and maintaining effective communication.

    Forecasting crew requirements, supporting seafarers and their families, reporting incidents, and enhancing team performance are also integral parts of the job.

    You will play a pivotal role in building a strong, competent, and reliable seafaring workforce to meet the company's operational needs.


    Key Requirements:


    Seafarer recruitment and crewing operations experience in the capacity of a Crewing Supervisor or Crewing Manager supporting fleet of seagoing dry and wet vessels.

    Proven experience in overseeing a crewing team and efficiently delegating responsibilities.
    Previous sailing experience will be an advantage.
    Presently based in Noida or Mumbai.
