    R&D Senior Engineer

    You will be working as R&D Senior Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D/Technology Manager and will be responsible for contributing significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP) by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. Acting as the first point of contact in Research and Development (R&D) or software development or product engineering for specific product-related issues and maintenance.

    Your responsibilities

    • Designing and developing Industrial SCADA applications. Implementing high quality software solutions in line with business requirements
    • Planning and executing testing across multiple platforms and solutions
    • Responsible for diagnosing and solving technical problems
    • Working with SCADA applications which involves Polyhedra DMS and SQL databases
    • Adhering to best software development practices to ensure high quality product and great user experience
    • Working in a global software development team, sharing experience and skills with other team members. Following software development principles in Azure DevOps environment

    Your background

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science
    • Minimum 6 to 9 years of experience in C+, C#, .Net, React.JS is must
    • Experience with Web API and REST, WCF, LINQ and MVC- Preferable
    • Experience with Agile or DevOps software development lifecycle methodologies
    • Good understanding of Docker Containers and Kubernetes preferable
    • Experience with database technologies –polyhedra DBMS and SQL database.
    • Experience with SCADA development control language- preferable
