    Description
    Leading Financial Services Company Our client is more than 2 decades old NBFC registered with the RBI. The company was set up with an aim to empower rural entrepreneurs, SMEs, and small institutions by micro-financing.

    The company has come a long way since its inception in 1992 and has evolved with time with the introduction of its App in the small loans sector.

    At present, the company has more than 2000 employees and has serviced millions of borrowers to accomplish their dreams. The group has diversified into the education segment and is running two schools. The schools are part of one of the largest private school chains in India.

    The schools have a flourishing family of 350 teachers and 6500 students The leadership team at the helm of the company has demonstrable experience in financial services and has built the company by upholding the trust of its customers.


    As a DB Administrator (SQL Server), you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems.


    What you need to do:

    • Managing SQL Server databases
    • Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes
    • Monitoring system's health and performance
    • Ensuring high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
    • Analyzing, solving, and correcting issues in real time
    • Providing suggestions for solutions
    • Refining and automating regular processes, track issues, and document changes
    • Assisting developers with query tuning and schema refinement
    • Providing 24x7 support for critical production systems
    • Performing scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

    What you need to have:

    • 34 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
    • 2 years of experience with MY SQL Server Administration experience required
    • 2 years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
    • 2 years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models
    • 2 years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
    • 2 years of experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
    • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
    • Critical thinker and problemsolving skills
    • Team player and good timemanagement skills
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills
    • MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus
