    Description
    Project Manager Job Description: - Primarily responsible for Project Delivery & Management within Time, Budget, and Quality Standards defined by the Company. Should have practical experience in Technical aspects. - Responsible for overall customer satisfaction and timely delivery of Solutions with Quality Standards & Budget. - Perform effective project management & technical leadership roles. Responsible for creating a project plan, project schedule, and tracking the plan till complete delivery. - Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities. - Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. - Ensure resource availability and allocation. - Estimate and plan projects from start to end, with built-in contingencies. - Develop a detailed project plan/schedule to track progress. - Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. - Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. - Report and escalate to management as needed. - Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. - Work closely with the customer to understand the business requirements for the project, develop effective working relationships, and ongoing management processes for the project. - Perform risk management to minimize project risks. - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. - Lead the planning and implementation of the project. - Perform quality assurance in the project. - Directly supervise the project team allocated, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Project Management - Project Scope - Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities. - Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope. - Review deliverables prepared by the team before passing them to the client. - Effectively apply a suitable methodology and enforce project standards. - Prepare for engagement review and quality assurance procedures. - Minimize risks on the project. - Ensure project documents are completed and stored. Facilitate team and client meetings effectively. - Hold regular status meetings with the project team. - Keep the project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news. - Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors. - Deliver informative and well-organized presentations. - Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. - Able to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Skills & Experience: - Experience in managing and executing GIS, LiDAR, and other Geospatial-related projects for local as well as International clients. - Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. - Flexible during times of change. - Sound Project Management & Technical Skills in Java & .Net. - Total Experience between 8 to 12 years out of which a minimum of 3-5 years as a Project Manager/Leader. - Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. - Knowledge of project management techniques and tools. - Proficient in project management software i.e. Open Project, Microsoft Project. - Education: BE/BTech/MCA required. - Experience working in the GIS domain. Prefer candidates from GIS-based companies like Here Map. Base Location: Mumbai
