    Description

    Position :
    Mainframe Developer

    Experience : 4 to 7 Years

    Location :
    Flexible to work in hybrid mode (Pune ,Noida or Hyderabad locations-we follow 9-10 days/month from office.)

    Mandatory Skill :
    COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2

    Notice :
    Immediate to 15 days

    Please look for Pune candidate first.

    Required Skills and Experience :
    4 to 7 years of experience in Mainframe development.

    • Flexible to work in hybrid mode (on the designated days from Noida, Pune or Hyderabad locations)
    • Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of IMS and CICS is a bonus.

    Preferred Skills :
    Experience with document composition tools such as OpenText Exstream or Quadient Inspire (previously GMC).

    • Familiarity with software development best practices.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

    Mainframe Developer Duties & Responsibilities :

    • Application development experience in Design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL, Zeke, File Aid, Changeman, AbendAid
    • Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables
    • Must have analytical and coding skills from working on IM
    • Experience in Coolgen
    • Execute various forms of testing unit, system, regression, integration, performance, volume
    • Manages all aspects of implementation planning & coordination
    • Develops detailed plans and accurate estimates for the design, build, implement and stabilize phases of the project
    • Performs database/ disaster recovery planning for multiple systems
    • Assists with vendor negotiations
    • Facilitates complex group meetings (including business partners) for technical design, decision making, problem solving, implementation and strategic planning

    Mainframe Developer Qualifications :

    • Licensing or Certifications for Mainframe Developer
    • List any licenses or certifications required by the position : SAS, ITIL, CECRL, B2, LOMA280/290, SANS, CISSP

    Education for Mainframe Developer :
