This senior-level position is ideal for a professional with over 10 years of experience, specifically with a focus on Asset-Liability Management (ALM) and Market Risk in Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs).

The selected candidate will be responsible for overhauling the current ALM framework, developing sophisticated ALM models, and enhancing funding sources to mitigate risks efficiently.

This role is pivotal in balancing the bank's developmental objectives with its financial stability, making it a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about making a significant impact in the financial management of developmental projects.

This is a 4- 6 month extendable contractual Assignment which can be done remotely with travel in to Riyadh as needed.

• ALM Framework Review and Development: Conduct a comprehensive review of the current ALM framework, including its objectives, principles, and governance. You will be tasked with developing a revised framework that encompasses governance, risk mitigation approaches, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), and Contingent Funding Plan (CFP).

• Funding Sources Enhancement: Evaluating existing funding sources and recommending strategies to lower funding risks.
• Project Financing Offerings Review: Analysing project financing offerings to identify potential enhancements that could improve the bank's product range, manage balance sheet risks better, and increase suitability and pricing for beneficiaries.
• Transfer Pricing Review: Undertaking a thorough study on Transfer Pricing to propose methods and mechanisms that align with best practices and the bank's ALM objectives.

Implementing strategies for hedging and risk mitigation to safeguard the bank's financial health without compromising its developmental Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for professionals who have worked with MDB's, specifically in ALM and Market Risk.

• Knowledge and Skills: Indepth knowledge of ALM, Market Risk, and experience in developing and implementing comprehensive ALM frameworks. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills are essential.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with internal teams, present findings, and make recommendations to senior management.
