    Purpose Statement

  • Lead and execute the strategic project Greenhouse to accelerate growth in the region for Urology/Pelvic Health and drive incremental revenue of $30M+ over the next 3 years
  • Focus on prioritizing and trading off the most important opportunities and deliver on short-term and long-term goals
  • Develop a capital strategy with countries to broaden capital placements, increase service revenue, and protect against competition
  • Manage, develop, and coach the Upstream Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to build capabilities in customer insights and needs, market opportunity and portfolio pipeline
  • Broaden BSC's market share in existing and potential markets and drive above-market growth
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning efforts for Greenhouse, working in partnership with Country Marketing and Franchise Marketing, to develop a fully detailed APAC Business Strategy to accelerate beyond the current growth
  • Lead the team to include market mapping, identification of potential gaps, and exploitation of new opportunities
  • Develop the APAC Strategic Plan, including market strategies aimed at maximizing market share, promoting new product launches, and building brand awareness
  • Manage and lead the Upstream Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager
  • Develop APAC's capabilities across customer insights, capital equipment, digital, and market modeling
  • Lead the team to identifying customer loyalty, healthcare economics, government affairs and reimbursement
  • Execute ongoing identification of new business/distribution opportunities and markets, track competitors and market shifts, and review broad strategic direction
  • Gather market research and competitive data to enable the formation of country-specific strategic marketing plans
  • Capture and structure information from the field to produce updated market mapping and business sizing
  • Manage and oversee the APAC Greenhouse and Digital Marketing plan, ensuring effective utilization of a 4M+ budget
  • Develop, lead, and manage the execution of customer insights aligned with business needs
  • Design and implement conferences/symposium strategies and tactics to support the country plan
  • Develop appropriate clinical activities plan such as registries and post market studies for divisional studies
  • Quantify and prioritize reimbursement opportunities. Work with the local markets for execution
  • Spend 50% of time in the field to deliver on Greenhouse opportunities, uncover customer insights, understand capital opportunities, clinical activities, and gather market and competitor information
  • Make regular contact/communication with Divisional marketing personnel and sales/country management to ensure alignment of plans
  • Ensure alignment with other functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Health Economics, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality)
  • Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply with, and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of BSC
  • Participate in driving quality awareness in every employee, guiding the local organization toward improved performance and customer-oriented initiatives
  • Key Qualifications

  • At least an undergraduate degree from a reputable university. Candidates with MBAs will be preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a related field
  • Track record of marketing with strategic planning and execution with strong KOL and stakeholder management in the medical industry, is essential. Experience in the medical device industry is preferred
  • Prior experience in core products from Urology/Women's Health and an understanding of the industry, procedures, solutions are preferred
  • Regional experience is a plus, with familiarity in the China/Japan markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, as the role involves communicating with stakeholders across APAC
  • Ability to work across different cultures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and multi-task effectively
  • Possess strong prioritization, project management and time management skills
  • Prior experience with people management and a track record of creating a culture to develop talent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Mature and able to articulate ideas and concepts well in front of senior management
  • Displays drive and ambition to be developed and grow into more senior marketing roles

  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 33% to 50% of the year
