    Job Title: Account Specialist IndianAccounting

    Location: ChennaiIndia

As part of our expansionwe are seeking a knowledgeable Account Specialist with a strongbackground in Indian accounting practices and proficiency in keyaccounting software including Tally.

    JobSummary:

    The Account Specialist will oversee thefinancial records ensuring compliance with both Indian andinternational accounting standards. This role requires adetailoriented professional with 3 to 5 years of experience inaccounting who is proficient in Tally and familiar with otheressential industry accounting software.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Maintain and manageall financial records including books of account in compliance withIndian accounting standards and any applicable internationalaccounting standards.
    • Prepare examine andanalyze accounting records financial statements and other financialreports to assess accuracy completeness and conformance toreporting and procedural standards.
    • Ensurecompliance with local state and federal government reportingrequirements and tax filings inIndia.
    • Collaborate with the finance team todevelop budgets perform variance analysis and implement financialplanning activities.
    • Provide guidance on costreduction revenue enhancement and profitmaximization.
    • Liaise with external auditors taxconsultants and regulatory bodies asrequired.
    • Stay updated with changes infinancial regulations and legislation affecting the companysoperations in India.
    • Implement and monitorinternal controls to ensure the integrity of financial transactionsand reports.
    • Assist in the implementation ofnew accounting systems and software.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Accounting Finance or a relatedfield.
    • Professional accounting qualificationpreferred (e.g. CA CPA ACCA).
    • 3 to 5 years ofaccounting or finance experience with specific expertise in theIndian market.
    • Extensive experience with TallyERP and proficiency in other industrystandard accountingsoftware.
    • Strong skills in MS Office especiallyExcel.
    • Excellent analytical organizational andproblemsolving skills.
    • Effective communicationabilities.
    • Capable of working under pressureand meeting deadlines.

    AdditionalDetails:

    • Notice Period: Preference forimmediate joiners or those with a notice period of less than 30days.
    • Experience Level: MidLevel (3 to 5years)
