    Role: VP, Vendor Management Finance & Accounting

    Qualifications:

    • Develops policies, standards and procedures for outsourcing key business processes to a third party vendor(s).
    • Define, analyze, and assess key performance metrics to ensure vendors meet business needs.
    • Oversees the deployment and implementation of programs and new initiatives.
    • Manages the relationship with third party vendors at the day-to-day operational level.
    • May have some responsibility for strategic vendor relationship management.
    • Oversees work executed by a third party vendor.
    • Monitors KPIs for outsourced work, identifies potential challenges or roadblocks and works back with vendor partners/business to resolve, escalating to the Sr Manager, Vendor Relationships and business managers if needed.
    • Responsible for delivery of work including Quality, Timeliness and other SLAs, Inventory Management, and other operational metrics.
    • Responsible for managing the vendor budget and that all KPIs are met within financial parameters.
    • Recommends cost saving measures as needed. Manages a team of individual contributors who support vendor operations.
    • Defines individual performance objectives and development plans to ensure alignment with project and unit objectives.
    • Evaluates team and individual performance and makes hiring and compensation recommendations.
    • Prepares presentations or other communication materials (e.g. dashboards) for internal stakeholders, partners and/or vendors to communicate results and support day to day operations.
    • Leads and/or participates in meetings with stakeholders at various levels Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with stakeholders including internal stakeholders and vendors.

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required plus 5-7 years of experience managing teams in project management or operations roles.

    • Strong analytical and decision making abilities.
    • Builds strong working relationships across organizations and cultures at all levels, ability to lead work across multiple stakeholders under competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
    • Advanced written/presentation/organizational skills, demonstrated ability to organize, lead and get work done through others.
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with a focus on continuous improvement Previous experience working with third party vendors preferred.
    • This is a front-line manager role whose focus is more operational in nature.
    • Provides input into the overall vendor strategy but not the primary owner.
    • This role may report into the Sr Manager, Vendor Operations or into a manager who has vendors as part of a functionally diverse group (e.g. an Operations manager).
