- Handling procurement for polymer PP & PE, Master Batch, mechanical repair & maintenance parts, and new part development, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and costeffectiveness.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key vendors.
- Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFQs, RFPs, and supplier selection processes, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to optimize sourcing decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Textile Engineering or Polymer Technology is required.
- Proven experience of 1011 years in procurement and strategic sourcing, with a focus on commodities like polymer PP & PE, mechanical repair, Capital Purchase & maintenance parts, and new part development.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to drive favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with analytics tools and techniques for supplier performance evaluation and decisionmaking.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA or other ERP systems preferred.
