    RoleOverview:

    Asan Engineering Manager youll leverage your technical expertise andleadership skills to drive the development of innovative productsand solutions. Youll provide guidance to engineers lead designreviews resolve technical issues and actively contribute to thecodebase everyday.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leadrequirement analysis detailed design and verification activitiesfor products orsolutions.
    • Makecritical design tradeoffs and decisions regarding features schedulequality andcost.
    • Identifyoptimal technology solutions leveraging both internal and externaloptions and apply appropriate methodologies to address issues andconcerns.
    • Takeprimary accountability for major project elements defining allrequired tasks and ensuring successful projectoutcomes.
    • Designdevelop or direct research and testing to validate theeffectiveness and consequences of designs processes or productenhancements across projects and/orproducts.
    • Proactivelyestablish measures and standards of success for project product andprocess quality within projectteams.
    • Createand enforce team processes and technicalstandards.

    Requirements/Skills:

    • 8years of relevant software engineeringexperience.
    • Minimum8 years of configuration management developmentexperience.
    • Experiencewith decoupling large applications andcontainerization.
    • Knowledgeof GraphQL WebSocket and network programming is aplus.
    • Experiencewith Terraform and Puppet is highlydesirable.
    • Abilityto thrive in a fastpaced Scrum teamenvironment.
    • Stronginterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively ina teamenvironment.
    • Excellentdecisionmaking skills to analyze design tradeoffs consideringfeatures schedule quality andcost.
    • Abilityto operate independently in a distributedteam.

    EducationandExperience:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fieldrequired

    Requirements/Skills: Managing and maturing a complete DevOpsplatform suite for development teams and stakeholders Building andimproving upon centralized and decentralized CI/CD Pipelinetemplates and Pipelines Secure development practices and tooling:static code, dynamic code, and software composition analysesProduction grade programming and/or scripting language(s)(automation, ci/cd, and consume/create APIs) Creating andon-boarding of infrastructure-as-code, secrets management, andconfiguration management with CI/CD pipelines Container-baseddevelopment workflows on-premise and in the cloud Hands onexperience working with DevOps and Automation tools like Git,Selenium, Docker, Helm, Terraform, Jira, Ansible, Harbor RegistryProficient working on Windows and Linux Operation System platforms.Hands on experience in creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelinesExperience working in an Agile methodology with cross functionalteams (R&D, DevOps, Operations, Support etc.) Excellent writtencommunication, problem solving and process management skillsKnowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up,always-available service
