    Description
    • Closely assist the manager (legal) in leading and mentoring a of legal professionals based in India, providing guidance, support and training. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the legal team.
    • Oversee the workload of the legal team, ensuring tasks are allocated effectively, deadlines are met, and priorities are aligned with business objectives.
    • Act as a key point of contact and interface between the legal team in India and stakeholders in the Middle East region. Facilitate communication, collaboration, and coordination of legal activities and initiatives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners and clients.
    • Review, negotiate, and draft various types of construction contracts for projects and operations in the Middle East, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.
    • Providing clear and concise feedback on contract risks and conduct follow up calls with colleagues to discuss, where required in a timely manner.
    • Proactively managing and leading negotiations.
    • Maintain appropriate awareness of the legislative and regulatory environment relating to key aspects of WSP's current operations.
