Experience:


  • 510 years of postqualification experience in legal/corporate secretarial function. Experience in listed company is an added advantage.
  • Command over Legal writing skills (English) & legal research.

Qualification:

Must have a Law degree from a reputed law college in India or from international college or qualified Company Secretary.

Description:


Role Objective:

To provide legal counselling in the areas of Corporate & Commercial Law, Technology Laws, Data Protection & Privacy to a growing & evolving Business with high regulatory complexity.

Identifies and analyses legal & regulatory risks & opportunities and proposes potential solutions to the key stakeholder -internal or external.

Managing end to end legal & secretarial requirements of group of companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • To keep abreast with, changes/developments in industry specific laws such as Medical Device/Pharma Laws, Technology/Cyber/Data Privacy Laws as well as Corporate laws such as Companies Act, FEMA, Foreign Collaboration, SEZ, IDRA, M&A, etc. or internal regulations inside the Company. And to update business & management basis their impact and its mitigation.
  • Provide strategic and legal counselling on various businesslegal issues/risks and proactively manage/mitigate commercial legal risks in business transactions.
  • To interact with business/ other functional departments on various legal issues including risk involved, their perception of such legal risks and advising proactively with solutionoriented advice.
  • Drafting & reviewing of legal documents & agreements such as domestic and international commercial contracts (including PPP, Consortium agreements, Prebid agreements, Sales/Purchase agreements, Work contracts, Framework agreements, Service level agreement etc.) with public and private customers, as well as suppliers and subcontractors etc. Creating standard templates of agreements, and specialized topics such as affidavits, Indemnity bond, corporate guarantees etc.
  • Involved in policy making for the Company. Designing, drafting, and overseeing the company's policy implementation and position on legal matters and knowledge management.
  • Guiding management on regulatory and legal issues to ensure compliance with applicable laws & regulations including implementation of control measures to avoid noncompliance with law & internal policies. Conducting trainings on specialized topics to create awareness on legal topics of importance in the Company
  • Responsible for managing, advising, and strategizing independently, all legal proceedings, dispute resolution process in various courts & quasijudicial bodies. Preparation of appropriate legal documents and organising representation in various forums through external lawyers.

Key Attributes & Competencies:


  • Expertise in Corporate & Commercial Laws is a must. Sound knowledge of any of industry specific Healthcare/Medical/ Pharmaceuticals/ Technology/Data laws will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to exercise judgement on complex legal issues effectively & problemsolving/resultoriented competencies
  • Good interpersonal & communication skill

₹800, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
