- Contracts Management:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to, sales agreements, distribution agreements, procurement contracts, and service agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations and align with the company's policies and objectives.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual rights and obligations, risk assessment, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation matters, including disputes, claims, and legal actions involving the company.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and internal teams to develop and implement litigation strategies.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and risk assessments related to litigation matters.
- Provide advice and recommendations to senior management on potential legal risks and litigation outcomes.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the manufacturing industry and advise the company on compliance obligations.
- Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Conduct internal investigations and audits as necessary to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization, including procurement, sales, operations, and finance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and achieve business objectives.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance legal awareness and understanding among employees.
- LLB / LLM degree from an accredited law school. Plus CS is also a Must to have for 10% secreterial / compliance work.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience with a focus on contracts and litigation within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial contracts.
- Extensive experience managing litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and business acumen, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing legal issues.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the manufacturing sector.
