Duties & Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Design and develop product and internal process training for internal and external audiences, most of whom have engineering backgrounds.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and other experts to create technical course content.
  • Oversee projects from start to finish, including crafting mediarich elearning courses (and occasional livestreams).
  • Collaborate with Training Managers to give inperson course materials a modern and exciting makeover.
  • Take ownership and drive training projects through ADDIE from start to finish within the required timelines.
  • Communicate project statuses, barriers, and risks to project timelines to stakeholders.
  • Conduct rigorous quality checks and revisions to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of instructional content.
  • Leverage our tech stack to efficiently design and develop multimedia rich and interactive elearning courses.
  • Create graphics, write voice over scripts, and create instructional videos.
  • Analyze learning objectives and given content to create effective assessments that improve learning retention and prompt reflection.
  • Manage your time effectively and work independently.
  • Ensure consistent style, formatting, and branding across all training materials.
The Individual

What you'll definitely need

  • Bachelor's degree required, Instructional Design or Learning Behavior (preferred). Additional certifications in lieu of a learning behavior related degree will be considered
  • Highly organized, selfmotivated, and able to work effectively within a team.
  • Project management skills to organize and drive training projects to completion on time and within budget.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Office 365 collaboration, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Proficient video creator and editor (Camtasia, Vyond, and basic Adobe Premiere.)
  • Content analysis skills to identify gaps between learning objectives and content.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Selfstarting mindset to learn new tools and workflows that improve learner journeys and development productivity

Desired Skills:

  • Basic graphic design and editing skills (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva)
  • 3D modeling, animating, and texturing (Blendr, CAD Assistant) Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of Instructional Design and e-learning development (preferably Articulate).
  • 35 years of technical writing or designing for technical content
  • Proficient skills in Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Vyond and Canva (or equitable software such as Adobe CC tools)
