Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring of Income and Corporate action Event announcements
  • Perform disclosure of beneficial owners to subcustodian / tax agents / DTCC based on the eligibilities
  • Understanding of International tax particularly documentations/ Treaty rates and ability to interpret the announcements made in the market for providing Relief at Source / Quick Refund
  • Partnering with the Tax Operations team globally to execute tax services for CIB clients
  • Strong and stable operational environment with robust controls
  • To ensure the firm is always compliant with applicable laws and regulations and Clientcentric approach is core across the team
  • Ensure a consistent focus on the people agenda softskill coaching and technical training, talent management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • B. Com graduate with asset servicing or international Tax experience / CA with 45 years' experience
  • You must be able to demonstrate extensive operations management experience with teams in multiple countries/jurisdictions and team management experience
  • You must be able to demonstrate strategic planning and execution skills
  • You must be able to discuss experience of client service and relationship management communicating complex issues with internal and external stakeholders
  • Should demonstrate strong analytical skills to review evolving market practices, assess oversight metrics and results, and identify trends.
  • You must be able to demonstrate high intelligence, with sound networking and influencing skills to help the Client Tax Operations Utility be effective
