Job Description :

We are seeking a Tech support engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the management of our company's databases to ensure efficient performance, security, and integrity.

Responsibilities :

Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of database systems.
Support database backups and recovery solutions.
Monitor database performance and tune accordingly.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as applying patches and updates.
Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolution.
Assist in database design and implementation based on business requirements.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and schema designs.
Ensure data security and compliance with best practices and standards.
Document database processes, procedures, and configurations.
Stay updated with emerging database technologies and best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
Familiarity with SQL and database design principles.
Understanding of database backup and recovery solutions.
Ability to troubleshoot database-related issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
