Solution Architect - SalesforceASSA ABLOY Global Solutions has a significant SFDC estate which is expanding in the division. This has driven need to have divisional SME on architectural knowledge and ownership.

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE:

The Salesforce Solution Architect will have divisional responsibility for providing a strategic Salesforce based solution approach, architecture direction, recommendation, arbitration, standards & governance to ensure solution integrity, compliance & security for projects and activities across ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Division multiple Salesforce orgs.

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for leading on solution & technical aspects within projects and sprints, including ProofofConcepts, prototyping and documentation of solution and technical designs.
Responsible for solution architecture management including thorough awareness on project governance, process and recurrent tasks, and ensuring JIRA review and sign off and SA stage.
Work closely with business and IT leaders to develop an understanding of the business requirements and provide documented Salesforce solutions to complex business needs.
Act as technical lead to ensure low level design artefacts are appropriate and align to the broader Enterprise & Solution Architect Governance. There will be close collaboration with the ERP, MDM, eBusiness & integration teams to ensure Salesforce fits into the agreed EA, with standardisation of objects and integrations.
Strive for commonality & build consistency across orgs, ensuring solution standardisation & design reuse to drive down complexity and inconsistency.
Provide guidance and oversight to a team of external developers, ensuring quality of delivery, adherence to the strategic architecture and best practice guidelines. Where necessary, you will lead on AMS process optimisation, org security, release and governance activities.

- keep on top of product enhancements announced by Salesforce, third-party app providers, leading the generation of technology pipeline and road maps.

Plan solution & technical delivery & guidance during periodic SFDC version releases.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors in projects and development activities.
Responsible for leading and driving various strategies such as harmonisation, scalability, release management strategy, integration strategy, End user UI strategy as well as the change and release strategies.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 12 years of previous experience as an enterprise level Salesforce Architect in a complex environment, with experience in multiple development languages and platforms.
Strong handson experience in software development life cycle
Indepth understanding of Salesforce technologies (clouds, offerings, custom development, integration, etc.)
Experience in requirements gathering, use case & technical design documentation, business analysis & technical design audits.
Experience should include Salesforce/ERP integrations, web services and Dell Boomi.
Proven ability to recommend and design solutions to meet and optimise business processes
Solid experience working with and leading external development teams
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to bring strong opinions and constraints to a generally agreed solution design
Strong team player, and able to mentor and coach other team members.
