Job Purpose


This role is responsible to create innovative, easy to use and striking content for 40k+ learners, spread across different lines of businesses.

S(he) will be the evangelists for use of new technologies to develop interesting, interactive, engaging and easy to use e-learning content, video(s), games and simulations to enhance pull learning to support learning through the life cycle of a frontline(s).


S/He will be a critical part of the Digital User Advocacy team, driving digital learning transformation at CARE through the advocacy, support, learning and proactive engagement of learners.

He/she will lead, develop and manage a scalable organization-wide digital training program


Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Operational Excellence

  • Lead all aspects of design and digital learning with a multiskilled team (curriculum specialists, graphic designers, SMEs, partners) to develop innovative and engaging learning aids, given stakeholder's technological requirements, scope, business priorities and aggressive timelines
  • Strategize, Analyse and Implement innovative training solutions for new hire orientation, refreshers, new and existing campaigns that may include learning in any mode, such as classroom, eLearning, digital, and gamebased, deployed on various platforms
  • Evaluate learning programs with internal stakeholders and customers, to make appropriate recommendation for improvements, revisions and longterm strategic success of the programs.
  • Design, Produce and Edit written, graphic, and video content for online training programs including interactive tutorials, simulation scenarios, online quizzes, etc.
  • Engage and Manage vendors in appropriate content development tasks/assignments to ensure that the company receives quality service within the expected timeline and budget
  • Lead the ideation and development of web based and multimedia instructional materials to support learning
  • Determine support in instructional design, strategies, assessments, technology and distributed learning across LOB's catering to various learner groups and learning styles
  • The responsibilities will stretch across the functions of the digital team; supporting users in learning tools, systems and hardware managed by Infrastructure, Applications, and Data Management

Stakeholder(s) Engagement

  • Works collaboratively within and across departments to analyse, develop and deliver training and educational programs and activities in line with strategic goals, objectives, and policies
  • Manage direct stakeholder (internal and external) communications and expectations
  • Project manage external content development vendors
  • Participate in evaluation, selection, testing and implementation of tools, technologies, and services to support online and blended learning models
  • Assist in development of web based and multimedia instructional materials to support learning
  • Assists in appropriate integration of instructional technologies into learning design
  • Manage learning professionals that includes Instructional Designers, Curriculum Specialists, and Graphic Designers

People and Team Leadership

  • Actively be involved in the recruitment, orientation, and resource allocation of the Design and Digital Learning team

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Instructional Design experience in a service/product/telecom
- based industry and workplace environment is preferred

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external groups to innovate, drive change, resolve problems and positively influence business measure outcomes
  • Strong process oriented skills with selfinitiative to drive continuous improvement
  • Good interpersonal and peoplemanagement skills
  • Proven ability to maintain multiple assignments simultaneously, work independently, and drive projects to completi
