    Description

    Role/Job Title: Model Risk Analyst

    Function/Department: Market Risk

    Job Purpose: This role focuses on ensuring accurate assessment of risks due to model development, calibration, and application. It involves overseeing the management of model risk exposures across various business lines within the Bank.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Lead initiatives to enhance the accuracy and coverage of the model validation process.
    • Independently perform statistical and mathematical model development or validation for Retail Lending Scorecards.
    • Conduct validation of Wholesale Rating Models and Market Risk Models.
    • Generate reports utilizing programming skills in Python, R, SAS, SQL, or other languages.
    • Manage databases using SQL, Hive, NoSQL, and data warehouse tools.
    • Understand parallel and distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, H2O.
    • Knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning, Big Data, Cloud Computing.
    • Data preparation and visualization using tools like Tableau, Python Dash, or R Shiny.

    Education Qualification:

    Graduation: Bachelor's in Engineering, Technology, Commerce, Accounts, or Management

    Post-graduation: MBA, PGDM, Mtech, MSC in Computer, Statistics, Mathematics, Operation Research, Engineering, or Physics

    Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
