    Location:
    Mumbai (Work-from-office, 5 days/week)

    About The Role:


    • Analyze, build, validate and document credit risk models using best practices.
    • Handson experience in using statistical methods and / or expert judgement based techniques for developing and implementing credit risk scorecards and strategies.
    • Derive insights from data and communicate these insights effectively to the stakeholders
    Data visualisation and presentation of reports to the regulator and senior management on a regular and adhoc basis.

    • Ability to work with (collect, prepare, process, summarise) large and sometimes unstructured data sets with attention to detail.
    • Partner with external entities including Bureaus, Software application providers, and Lenders to advance the synergies found for business growth.
    • Coordinate all administrative aspects of portfolio management on a day to day basis including, but not limited to, identifying unlinked outstanding, over limits, temporary facility extension or increases.
    • Stand for reliability, integrity and consistency in using the underlying data and insights generated.
    About You:


    • At least 5 years of experience in the areas of credit risk management and data analytics with a top fintech and / or a private sector bank of India or overseas.
    • Degree in statistics, engineering or econometrics (or equivalent professional qualifications) with handson experience in statistical model development, validation implementation and use is desirable.
    • Undergraduate degree from a top tier college is a must.
    • Extensive experience and expertise in using any SQL / Python.
    • Strong experience in areas like delinquency or loan loss forecasting, expected credit losses capital computation under advanced approaches.
    • Experience in projects involving automation / data consolidation in the areas of risk or financial reporting would be an advantage.
    • Credit concepts, policy/regulatory framework, loan and card products.

    • Selfstarter and Gogetter.
    • Strong communicator and interpersonal skills. Team player.
