Function Overview
The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. This collaborative approach ensures a well-coordinated supply chain that aligns with both organizational goals and dynamic market conditions.

Purpose of the role
Supply Chain Risk & Resilience COE is responsible for developing process, tools, and capabilities that further the Supply Chain Risk Management Framework across pillars in support of our business teams in the Operations Units (OUs). This team drives a risk aware culture, with a focus of preparing, detecting, responding, and recovering from risk events that could impact our business operations.
The role will support the entire Supply Chain Risk COE, leverage risk & resilience tools with a focus on providing operational support to detect and assess emerging risks. The goal of this role would be earlier detection to enable faster action and prevent disruptions from occurring and mitigating risks ahead of escalating.
Key Accountabilities
30 % of time :Supply Chain Risk Prepare Operations Support :
Audit / monitor risk reports
Report errors to the POD / D&T team to make sure our reports are accurate and data is pulling correctly from the tool
Support forward looking proactive risk planning, using a data driven approach.
50 % of time : Supply Chain Risk Detection Operations Support :
Disruption Monitoring:
New disruptive events create a WarRoom notification, and it comes via email.
Assess the risk of disruptive events. This involves identifying potential disruptive events, such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or supply chain disruptions.
Once the risks have been identified, their likelihood and impact should be assessed (Low, Medium, High, or Extreme)
Changes the status of War Room to Assessing/Mitigating in Resilinc.
Consider whether to close the WarRoom or establish a BPM for INFORM, ACTION, or EMERGING TOPIC.
Partner across the SC Pillars to support increased visibility and enable speed to response.
Disruptive Event Execution:
Gather essential mission-critical data for the WarRoom from the Supply Risk Map (go/riskportal), including details on Raw Materials, FINI, Buyer, VGM, and Revenue at risk.
Enter an Emerging Topic, INFORM, or ACTION in BPM attaching data pulled from the Supply Risk Map and Resilinc
Communicate with teams and stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies.
Coordinate and track response and recovery plans in BPM.
Partner with Materials Management on safety stock, inventory levels, and transit inventory.
Coordinate with stakeholders for proactive risk spot buys and additional resources.
Work with legal, finance, and leadership to expedite contracts and approvals.
Track BPM tasks and completion dates.
Work with stakeholders to update the events and/or close them out.
Risk Detection and Assessment :
Partnering across risk teams to scan and sense emerging risks and trends
Analyzing data to identify critical insights and recommendations
Assess potential impact leveraging data and analytics
Enable actions through clear insights and data that deliver prevention
Establish and maintain a Supply Chain Risk Register to drive visibility
Connect risk findings into process (i.e., BPM RUN Nodes) to drive action
20 % of time : Risk & Resilience Operations and Communications :
Support preparedness needs across supply chain pillars
Create custom / requested risk assessments for emerging and current risks
Extension of support for Supply Chain Crisis Management Group management
Lead Risk Communications for emerging risks (i.e., daily briefing, weekly recap, monthly summary)
Analyzing data to tease out critical insights and recommendations
Identify situations that could lead to disruption within the supply chain
Assess potential impact leveraging data and analytics
Enable actions through clear insights and data that deliver prevention
Establish and maintain a Supply Chain Risk Register to drive visibility

Minimum Qualification :
Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
Minimum 3 – 5 years of related experience required.
