    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop comprehensive media plans to meet client objectives, including selecting appropriate media channels, negotiating rates, and allocating budgets effectively.
    • Collaborate with clients, account managers, and creative teams to understand campaign objectives, target audience demographics, and messaging strategies.
    • Conduct market research and media analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights that inform media planning decisions.
    • Utilize media planning tools and software to forecast reach, frequency, and ROI for various media channels and campaigns.
    • Negotiate with media vendors to secure favorable rates, added value opportunities, and sponsorships that maximize campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Monitor campaign performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reporting and analysis to clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Stay current with industry trends, emerging media platforms, and technological advancements to recommend innovative strategies and tactics for future campaigns.
    • Mentor and train junior members of the media planning team, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster their professional development.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
    • Proven experience in media planning, preferably in an advertising agency or media buying agency.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and draw actionable insights.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with media vendors and clients.
    • Proficiency in media planning tools and software (e.g., Nielsen, comScore, Kantar Media).
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Knowledge of advertising regulations, media buying processes, and industry best practices.

    Skills:

    • Media Planning: Developing and executing media plans across various channels (e.g., TV, radio, digital, print).
    • Data Analysis: Analyzing media performance data and KPIs to optimize campaign effectiveness.
    • Negotiation: Negotiating with media vendors to secure favorable rates and added value opportunities.
    • Communication: Presenting media plans and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Leadership: Mentoring and coaching junior team members to support their growth and development.

    Preferred:

    • Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
    • Certification in media planning or digital advertising.
    • Experience with programmatic advertising platforms and real-time bidding (RTB).
