    Job Description:


    We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team.

    The perfect candidate should have a solid background in data warehousing and practical experience with Snowflake cloud data platform.

    As a Snowflake Developer, your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Snowflake to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.


    Responsibilities:

    • Data Modeling: Design and develop data models for Snowflake data warehouses, focusing on performance, scalability, and data integrity.
    • Utilize best practices in dimensional modeling for creating efficient and optimized data schemas.
    • ETL Development: Create ETL processes to ingest data from various source systems into Snowflake data warehouses.
    • Utilize Snowflake's built-in features and functions for data transformation and loading.
    • SQL Development: Craft complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulations, transformations, and aggregations within Snowflake.
    • Optimize SQL queries for improved performance and efficiency.
    • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize Snowflake data warehouses for performance, concurrency, and resource utilization.
    • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing, and resource management.
    • Data Integration: Integrate Snowflake with other data platforms and tools such as ETL tools, BI tools, and data visualization platforms.
    • Implement data pipelines and workflows for seamless data movement and processing.
    • Security and Access Control: Enforce security policies, roles, and access controls within Snowflake for data privacy, compliance, and governance.
    • Define and manage user roles and permissions according to organizational requirements.
    • Data Quality and Governance: Set up data quality checks and governance processes within Snowflake to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
    • Develop data validation scripts and quality assurance procedures.
    • Documentation and Collaboration: Document technical specifications, data mappings, and system configurations for Snowflake data solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • 2 to 5 years of experience in data warehousing and database development.
    • Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform, covering data modeling, ETL development, and SQL programming.
    • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in SQL programming and database technologies.
    • Experience with data integration tools and technologies.
    • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
