    Description

    Job Title: Product Owner

    Job Description:

    1. Responsible for understanding client needs and translating them into actionable Epics for use by the development team in India to build the product.

    2. Create user stories that clearly define the requirements of the product and how it will be used.

    3. Define and maintain a product backlog including user stories and Epics to be delivered.

    4. Prioritize items in the product backlog and create sprints that align with the overall roadmap.

    5. Monitor progress of the development team and ensure that the sprints are completed on time.

    6. Act as the primary point of contact for the development team: Communicate with the development team and ensure that they have the information and resources they need to deliver the product on time and to the expected quality.

    7. Continuously evaluate and improve the product making changes to it as required to improve its functionality and usability.

    General Qualifications

    1. The candidate should have a good understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and be able to apply them to the product development process.

    2. Strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors. They should also be able to lead cross-functional teams and manage the product development process from concept to launch.

    3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    4. Technical background

    a. Good understanding of the technical aspects of building products

    b. Experience in software development or engineering

    c. Knowledge of software development life cycle

    d. Ability to communicate with the development team in technical language

    e. Added advantage: understanding of the basics of data science and analytics

    5. Project management skills: The candidate should have experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

    Education and Experience

    · The candidate should have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or healthcare. A master's degree would be an advantage.

    · Product Ownership experience: The candidate should have experience in product ownership, ideally in the healthcare industry or in a related field.

    · The candidate should have 3-5 years of work experience with a proven track record of delivering successful products and have the ability to balance and prioritize competing priorities
