    Description

    Position Overview :


    As a GCP DevOps Architect with 8 to 10 years of experience, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing DevOps solutions within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.


    Leveraging your expertise in GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and collaboration platforms, you will be responsible for setting up and managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring smooth operations of the DevOps pipeline.


    Key Responsibilities :

    GCP Environment Setup:

    • Design and implement GCP environments, including the creation of clusters, configurations, and networking setups.
    • Set up and manage GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

    Infrastructure as Code:

    • Utilize Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning and management, ensuring consistency and repeatability across environments.
    • Write and maintain Terraform scripts for provisioning resources such as VM instances, storage, networking, and Kubernetes clusters.

    Cloud Services Configuration:

    • Configure and manage GCP services such as VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes Engine.
    • Work with YAML files to define configurations for Kubernetes resources and deployments.

    CI/CD Pipeline Setup :

    • Set up endtoend CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CyberFlow.
    • Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enable rapid and reliable delivery of software.

    Proxy Setup and Security:

    • Configure proxy settings and ensure secure communication within the GCP environment.
    • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies.

    Collaboration Tools Integration:

    • Integrate DevOps tools with collaboration platforms such as Jira and Confluence for seamless project management and documentation.

    Technical Leadership :

    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the DevOps team, mentoring junior members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define DevOps strategies and implement best practices.

    Qualifications and Experience :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 810 years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management, with a focus on GCP.
    • Strong expertise in GCP services, including VPC, GKE, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
    • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) automation.
    • Experience with Kubernetes cluster configurations and YAML files.
    • Handson experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, and other related tools.
    • Knowledge of proxy setup, security best practices, and compliance requirements within cloud environments.
    • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
