    Description

    Experiance : 5+Years,.

    Location : Bangalore.

    - 3+ years of relevant experience developing Roku apps with BrightScript.

    - Experience working on apps that support linear video streaming and VOD content.

    - Experience with working on a wide array of Roku devices and a good understanding of their limitations.

    - Experience in ensuring apps meet requirements for Roku certification.

    - Experience with RESTful JSON feed consumption.

    - Experience with Git.

    - Experience with the latest development paradigms regarding performance, security, and coding best practices.

    - Strong knowledge of design patterns.

    - Strong knowledge of Roku native UI components like RowList, MarkupGrid, MarkupList.

    - Good understanding of threads in SceneGraph and optimizing rendezvous between task threads and render thread.

    - Good communication skills with different types of stakeholders such as QA, Project Managers and Product Owners.

    - BS or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

    - Experience with using the Google IMA SDK and player is an added advantage.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Develop and maintain Roku applications with a focus on delivering seamless linear video streaming and VOD content experiences.

    Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

    Ensure that all Roku applications meet the requirements for certification and adhere to performance, security, and coding best practices.

    Utilize RESTful JSON feeds for content consumption and integration with backend services.

    Collaborate with the team to optimize performance and ensure compatibility across a wide array of Roku devices.

    Lead code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers to ensure code quality and adherence to design patterns.

    Communicate effectively with QA, Project Managers, and Product Owners to prioritize tasks and deliverables.
