    Description

    Looking for immediate joiners only ( within a week ). If interested, please revert back with your resume at along with your CTC / ECTC and Notice period *We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible
    for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines in Domo Analytics Platform to
    extract, transform, and load data from our OLTP (PostgreSQL) database into an OLAP
    datamart. Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) tools is highly desirable as it will play a
    crucial role in capturing and processing real-time data changes.


    Role Objectives and Responsibilities:

    • Utilize Domo Analytics Platform
    • Extract Data from OLTP (PostgreSQL)

    Database:
    Efficiently extract data from
    PostgreSQL databases while ensuring data integrity and security.

    • Transform and Load Data into OLAP Datamart: Design and implement data
    transformations and loading procedures to populate OLAP datamarts for analytics and
    reporting purposes.

    • Implement Change Data Capture (CDC)

    Tools:
    Utilize CDC tools and methodologies to
    capture and propagate data changes in real-time, ensuring data consistency and
    accuracy.

    • Optimize ETL Processes: Continuously optimize ETL processes for performance,
    scalability, and reliability, ensuring timely delivery of data to downstream systems.

    • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather
    requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.

    • Data Quality Assurance: Perform data quality assessments and implement data
    governance best practices to maintain high-quality data.

    • Monitor and

    Troubleshoot Data Pipelines:
    Monitor data pipelines, identify issues, and
    troubleshoot data-related problems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted data flow.

    • Stay Updated with

    Technology Trends:
    Keep abreast of the latest trends and
    advancements in data engineering, analytics, and Domo platform capabilities.


    Key skills & Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related
    technical field

    • 5+ Years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
    • Proven experience working as a Data Engineer, preferably with expertise in the Domo
    Analytics Platform.

    • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as
    PostgreSQL.

    • In-depth knowledge of ETL concepts, techniques, and best practices.
    • Hands-on experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) tools and technologies.
    • Familiarity with OLAP concepts and experience in building datamarts.
    • Proficiency in data modeling, schema design, and optimization.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a
    team environment.

    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Big Data technologies is a
    plus.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Unit Testing to ensure superior code quality and test coverage.
    • Good knowledge of structured and unstructured databases, data lakes.
    • Takes pride in being quality conscious and an automation freak.
