    Openings for the role of Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer



    Requirements:

    • Over 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
    • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL databases
    • Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Expertise in software development lifecycle and best practices
    • Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehouses
    • Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams in a fast-paced environment
    • Track record in feature development and product prioritization
    • Previous exposure to startup culture

    Responsibilities:

    PySpark Programming:

    You will be accountable for developing and maintaining transformation pipelines using PySpark on Databricks.


    Cloud Technology:
    You must be well-versed in Databricks and GCP, with a focus on cloud migration projects from SQL to Spark.

    Data Orchestration:
    Manage data orchestration using Azure Data Factory (ADF).

    SQL Expertise:
    Extensive hands-on experience with SQL-Server and SSIS.

    Data Modelling:
    Responsible for data modeling to align with business requirements.

    Agile Development:
    Collaborate within an agile framework for timely project delivery.

    ETL Processes:
    Expertise in ETL processes and cloud environments, knowledge of Fivetran is a plus.

    Data Pipelines:
    Strong background in creating data pipelines and coding in Spark and PySpark.

    Finance Data:
    Key understanding of financial data is essential.

    Nice-to-have:

    • Knowledge of cookies, tracking, and compliance
    • Experience in financefocused engineering or strong finance domain knowledge
    • Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
