    Responsibilities:

    Ensure regulatory compliance with indirect tax laws across multiple jurisdictions.

    Represent the company in litigated matters before various tax authorities.

    Analyze financial data to identify tax risks and opportunities.

    Establish and manage systems for tax risk management.

    Recommend tax strategies aligned with business goals.

    Stay updated on legislative developments in indirect taxes and advise management accordingly.

    Ensure minimal tax leakage and facilitate smooth audit closures.

    Handle queries and investigations from tax authorities.

    Represent the company in policy matters through industry forums.

    Provide customized training on tax matters to stakeholders.

    Optimize tax strategies as required.

    Identify and implement technological solutions for tax operations.

    Manage tax rates, classifications, and exemption documentation.

    Lead and motivate the tax team to foster a collaborative work environment.

    Desired skills:

    Expertise in handling of litigated issues

    Excellent understanding of indirect tax laws including GST

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

    Excellent organizational and time management skills
